Winter Wonderland.

Christmas Carnival! 

One plus of living in London is that Christmas spreads through the city right after Halloween.

Christmas is already my favorite holiday and this took my excitement to a whole new level.

I was like a little kid waking up on Christmas morning walking through the carnival and all the markets.

Best ride ever. 

Staring over my favorite city being held up so high for over a minute anticipation raising and then dropping fast to the ground and doing it all over again. Couldn't think of anything better.

This year Christmas will be different. I'm not sure if its because I've been getting excited for over a month already from the lights, parades, and huge santa's or the fact that Christmas means I'll be home back with my family.

I'm pretty sure it's a little of both. 

Either way I can't wait for Christmas!

P.s. I may or may not have gone two nights in a row and plan to go back as much as I can before I head home.

Life Is Better At The Theater.

The Lion King

Started off the week with a night in the safari. 

The colors and costumes were seriously so great!

The opening act 'The Circle of Life' left me in chills.

I felt like it brought my childhood memories to life on stage.

Breaking Dawn

Whats better than a some vampires and wolfs?

Watching it in London. Yep pretty great.

The theaters here are way smaller and so is the screen.

Which is weird.

But theres never a line. Walked right in opening day 

and LOVED every second of it.

Last but not least...

Easily my new favorite show of all time.

I've never laughed so hard in a musical before.

The little kids stole my heart and the adults were hilarious.

I couldn't have thought of a better way to spend my Saturday afternoon with my good friend Maggie.

The most epic day... how did you spend it?

I spent it in Rome with my best friend Alli.

Alli is in the study abroad Italy program so she came up from Siena to spend Friday with me. After three months of separation it was a very exciting reunion. 

I love Alli. She is the bestest friend anyone could ever ask for.  She is the most dependable friend I've ever had. She is the most loving and caring person ever and will do anything for her friends. I miss our constant phone calls and text, I talk to her about everything and anything. So being able to actually see her face in front of mine and not through a crapy internet skype session was the cherry on top to a great trip. She even brought me a Welcome to Rome gift. Need I say more?

Walking the streets of Rome with her was so fun and strangely felt so normal like I had just seen her. It was great because she told us all her favorite things about Rome and what she did while she was there. She was able to take us to her favorite gelato shop in all of Rome. Giolitti. 

It was AMAZING.

Now Alli knows all my new friends.

So happy about that.

The ultimate wish at the Trevi Fountain. 

Oh and Me and Alyssa might have kissed a boy at 11:11am. 

11:11pm was spent back at the Trevi Fountain again making the perfect wish with about 100 other people.

The perfect ending to an EPIC day.

When in Rome...

1. Eat lots of pizza, pasta, and most importantly gelato. 
2. Have lots of laughs with your best friends.
3. Embrace the "Ciao Bella!"

Which turned out to be the size of a blanket.

For some reason while we were looking at it we held it so low it was practically to our knees.

Gelato

Never in my life have i loved gelato more than in Rome.

Unbelievably good. So good we did two a days.

This was were out cute little B&B. 

The owner Sergio was so nice. He took great care of us.

Rome was a dream come true.  Walking the streets I feel more and more in love. I could have stayed there for two more weeks. This is only the beginning of my Italy addiction. I will be back to explore the rest of this amazing country. The food, the people, the sites, how could you not fall in love? 

Oh! And did I mention I went to Rome for Four days, bought stuff and fit it it ALL in one backpack? Yeah. I was impressed too.
